Terrible sadly, avoid this one. - Hodnotenie: 1 z 5autor: Používateľ Firefoxu - 16020197, pred 4 rokmi

I think added lyrics like this should just be done through YouTube captions instead, which kinda does the same thing already, but natively within YouTube. It just is not really used for song lyrics so far.
Edit: Alright. I want to update and rise my review / rating slightly, just because I at least gave this a proper try myself. This is more or less the only YT lyrics addon that at least works, assuming there is a decent entry of the song you want to listen to. So I quickly made one for myself and the result is pretty decent. Feel free to check this song out if you want a demo:

Something the screenshots did not show: Just add a timestamp with no text to remove the previous text, if you happen to get a quiet spot within the songs.
Small edit: Less-than signs seem to break it a little, at least for the line it is used in. So no text hearts unfortunately.Odpoveď od vývojára
uverejnené pred 5 rokmiHey. Thanks for the review and for submitting the lyrics for the song. Sorry for not replying earlier. You are right, it takes many users to update the content. At this stage you pretty much have to submit all the content yourself. I'm hoping that with many users there would be enough moderators to counter the trolls. This seems to work decently on Wikipedia. I also agree that the best way is to use YouTube captions, but the problem is that only the video owner can do that. I don't think I would have much luck trying to persuade most of the copyright owners to add the captions to their YouTube videos. Some music videos have those native captions/lyrics, but it's quite uncommon. I updated the wiki front page a bit: https://youtube-lyrics.fandom.com , including the quiet spot. Version 1.26 should handle those < and > characters correctly. =) - Hodnotenie: 4 z 5autor: ammogoat, pred 6 rokmi

Update: I disabled annotations, and that is required for this extension to work apparently. I enabled them and now it works. It's a nice integration idea, but it should have been mentioned that annotations are required for the extension to work.
