Video Transcript does not collect, sell, or transmit personal data to the developer. There is no account, analytics, telemetry, advertising, remote code, or developer-operated server. When the user invokes the extension, it may request the selected media page or its caption delivery host to retrieve captions. Those requests are made directly from Firefox to the selected site. Transcripts, notes, history, saved items, and preferences remain in local Firefox storage unless the user explicitly exports them. The extension does not transmit this local data.
