Enhances Vanguard.com with private, ownership-aware portfolio percentages and interactive allocation insights.


Vanguard.com Enhancer makes Vanguard's Unrealized gains & losses page easier to understand when a household has multiple taxable, retirement, custodial, joint, education, or trust accounts.

Classify each detected account into an ownership group—such as Personal, Spouse, Child UTMA, Joint, or Family Trust. The extension then calculates each holding as a percentage of the total market value for that group. A user's taxable brokerage, Roth IRA, Traditional IRA, rollover IRA, and similar personal accounts can be viewed together while a child's UTMA holdings remain in a completely separate calculation. New accounts always start as Other / Ignore, so a custodial account or another person's assets cannot silently enter the wrong portfolio total.

On the Vanguard page, each classified holding receives a compact percentage label that matches the surrounding visual style. An optional group-total display summarizes the market value represented by the currently loaded rows.

The optional allocation dashboard provides:

• an interactive color-coded allocation chart with holding names and values on hover;
• a ranked allocation view for comparing position weights;
• combined positions when the same symbol appears in multiple accounts in the same ownership group;
• market value and unrealized gain/loss information;
• largest-position, top-five concentration, and effective-holdings measures;
• account and security-type composition; and
• multiple top gain and loss contributors.

NO DATA COLLECTION: Vanguard.com Enhancer does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or remotely process any data. It does not send account names, holdings, market values, cost basis, classifications, browsing activity, or usage information anywhere. There are no external servers, analytics, telemetry, tracking, advertising, or remote code.

All page reading and calculations happen locally inside Firefox. Only detected account labels, account-to-group classifications, custom group names, and display preferences are saved in Firefox's local extension storage so the user's setup remains available. Market values, cost values, percentages, gains/losses, and dashboard results are processed in memory and are not persisted by the extension.

The add-on runs only on Vanguard's specific Unrealized gains & losses URL and requests only Firefox's local storage permission. It cannot read browser history, cookies, passwords, or other websites. Private-browsing access is disabled.

For accurate totals, expand every classified account on the Vanguard page. The extension warns when a classified account is detected without loaded holding rows.
