Text Analyzer Autor: text-analyzer

Text Analyzer is a Firefox extension that provides comprehensive text analysis
for selected or pasted text. It delivers full statistics: word count, character
count (with and without spaces), sentence count, paragraph count, estimated
reading time, line count, average word length, longest word, and top character
frequency. Accessible via right-click context menu or popup input.

2. FEATURES

2.1. Analyze selected text
- Select any text on a web page
- Right-click → "Analyze Text" for full statistics
- Or "Count Words" for a quick word tally
- Results shown as an overlay on the page

2.2. Analyze via popup
- Open popup to paste or type text manually
- Click "Analyze" or press Ctrl+Enter to run
- Automatically grabs selected text when popup opens
- Results displayed in a grid layout

2.3. Statistics (14 metrics)
- Word count: Total words in the text
- Character count: Total chars including spaces
- Characters (no space): Only visible characters
- Sentences: Count based on . ! ? punctuation
- Paragraphs: Count based on blank line separators
- Reading time: Based on 200 words/min average
- Lines: Number of text lines
- Avg word length: Mean characters per word
- Longest word: The word with most characters
- Top characters: 5 most frequent characters with counts

2.4. Copy results
- Click "Copy Results" to copy a summary
- Format: "Text Analyzer - Words: X, Chars: Y, Sentences: Z, Read: W"
- Easy paste into email, chat, documents
