O tomto rozšírení
Lightning Tracker delivers real-time lightning strike proximity alerts, severe thunderstorm tracking, and live weather radar directly in your browser.
Powered by optical telemetry downlinked directly from NOAA GOES-18, NOAA GOES-19, and EUMETSAT MTG geostationary weather satellites, Lightning Tracker calculates the exact geodesic distance to nearby electrical discharges so you know immediately when severe weather approaches your area.
Key Features:
100% In-Browser Privacy:
Your privacy is protected. Geolocation coordinates are processed strictly inside your local browser sandbox to compute distances. Coordinates are never transmitted over the network, never stored on external servers, and never logged.

Key Features:
- Real-Time Strike Radar: Monitor global cloud-to-ground (CG) and intra-cloud (IC) electrical discharges with sub-second downlink latency.
- Proximity Distance Calculator: Calculates the geodesic distance in kilometers between your location and the closest recorded strike.
- Desktop Push Alerts: Receive instant background notifications when thunderstorms enter your customizable warning zone (15 km, 25 km, or 50 km).
- 30-30 Lightning Safety Guidance: Automatic threat assessment (Low Risk, Caution, Severe Threat) based on official meteorological safety guidelines.
- Toolbar Status Badge: Real-time proximity badge on your browser toolbar displaying the distance to the nearest active strike.
- Live Doppler Weather Radar: Composite precipitation radar mesh refreshed every 3 to 5 minutes.
- Direct Live Map Launch: Quick one-click access to the full hardware-accelerated interactive map on lightningmaps.live.
