idea genesis turns documents into structured answers. This extension puts the web in front of it.

Capture the page you are reading — or just the part you selected — and send it straight into idea genesis. The app opens on the schema picker with your capture already in place, so you can finish the run.

Some pages idea genesis can read better itself. When you send a whole page from a site like that — a video page, for example — the app may offer to fetch the transcript instead of using the text on screen. It is your choice, made in the app, and your capture stays as it was if you decline.

The extension is free to install. idea genesis offers free usage with credit limits and optional paid Plus plans.

Works signed in or as a guest. The extension holds no credentials at all — it never asks for your password, never reads your sign-in, and never stores a login. It hands the capture to the idea genesis tab it opens, and that tab does the upload with whatever session you already have there.

It only reads a page when you ask it to: the capture script runs on the tab you are on, at the moment you click, and nowhere else. Opening the extension's window first checks whether you have text selected, so it can offer to send only that — a yes-or-no answer, not any of the page. It has no standing access to the sites you visit. It does hold standing access to idea genesis' own pages, which is how it hands your capture to the tab it opens for you.
