Who we are

ConteFi is a cross-browser extension developed by Sidera Tech. It helps users download and organize CFDI invoices from the Mexican Tax Authority (SAT) portal. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the SAT or the Mexican government in any way.



The short version

ConteFi does not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data, your financial information, or your invoice data. Everything the extension does happens on your own computer, inside your own browser.



What data ConteFi handles

Data that never leaves your device:
- The XML and PDF invoice files downloaded from the SAT portal
- Parsed invoice fields (RFC codes, business names, amounts, dates, UUIDs)
- Excel export files generated from your invoices
- Your download preferences and extension settings

Data stored locally in your browser (Local storage):
- Your ConteFi license key
- An anonymous device identifier used solely to enforce your 3-device activation limit
- Your extension settings and preferences

This data is stored using the browser's built-in local storage. It remains on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Data transmitted to third parties:
- When you purchase a license, LemonSqueezy (our payment processor) receives your email address and payment information. Their privacy policy governs that transaction and can be found at lemonsqueezy.com.
- When you activate your license key, the key and your anonymous device identifier are sent to LemonSqueezy solely to verify the activation count. No invoice data, RFC codes, or financial information is included in this request.



What data ConteFi does NOT collect

We do not collect, and have no access to:
- Your SAT username, password, or e.firma
- Your RFC or any tax identification information
- The content of your invoices or financial transactions
- Your browsing history on any website
- Any information from websites other than the SAT portal



How ConteFi accesses the SAT portal

ConteFi uses your existing, active browser session on the SAT portal to retrieve invoice files on your behalf. This is the technical equivalent of you clicking each download button yourself. The extension does not store, intercept, or transmit your SAT session credentials. Your login information never passes through our systems.



Children's privacy

ConteFi is a professional tax tool intended for adult business users. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 18.



Data retention

We retain no user data on our servers because we collect none. Data stored locally by the extension persists on your device until you uninstall the extension or manually clear browser's local storage. You can clear this data at any time by going to about:addons, finding ConteFi, and clicking "Clear Data," or by uninstalling the extension.



Your rights under Mexican law

If you are located in Mexico, you have rights under the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (LFPDPPP), including the right to access, correct, cancel, or oppose the processing of your personal data (derechos ARCO). Because ConteFi does not transmit or store personal data on external servers, all data covered by these rights exists solely on your own device and is under your direct control. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the Mozilla Addons listing. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
