Budee does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers.

WHAT STAYS IN YOUR BROWSER
- API keys: Stored locally in browser storage. Never sent to any server except your chosen AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI).
- Conversation history: Stored locally in IndexedDB. Never leaves your browser.
- Settings and preferences: Stored locally in browser storage.

HOW DATA IS PROCESSED
When you send a message in Budee, your input and relevant page content are sent directly from your browser to your chosen AI provider (Anthropic
API or OpenAI API). Budee acts as an intermediary and does not log, store, or forward this data anywhere else.

ADVERTISING
Budee displays text ads from revme.io inside its own sidepanel UI, clearly labeled "Ad". These ads are fetched from revme.io's ad server. No
personal data or browsing history is shared with revme.io. No ads are injected into third-party websites.

- activeTab: Access current tab content when you send a command
- tabs: List and manage browser tabs
- storage: Save settings and API keys locally
- scripting: Execute scripts on web pages for automation
- alarms: Schedule background tasks
- offscreen: Access file system via offscreen documents
- cookies: Read cookies for authenticated page automation
- webNavigation: Track page navigation events
- <all_urls>: Budee works on any website you visit

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
- Anthropic API (api.anthropic.com): Optional, user provides own API key
- OpenAI API (api.openai.com): Optional, user provides own API key
- revme.io Ad SDK: Serves text ads inside Budee's sidepanel
