There seems to be some misunderstandings about our Acceptable Ads Initiative. Users are still in control, and can disable “allow acceptable ads” in options. If you still experience ads with this option disabled, please be advised that these are more than likely NOT Acceptable Ads. In these cases please send us the URL along with a screenshot of your subscribed filter lists to support@adblockplus.org. We are usually able to get these reported to the filter list team and resolved. Rest assured no company can pay us to have their ads shown. Not easy to use; lacks essential features. For instance: when turned on it lets you block specific elements on a page but does not let you UNblock specific elements on a page. The app tells you that X number of elements are blocked but does not list them nor provide any way to see them to allow you to unblock them. This means the only way to see them is to disable AdBlock altogether on a given page, but then you cannot block specific elements anymore. There is supposedly a workaround involving developer tools but this is an extremely confusing rabbit hole that the uninitiated should not dare enter. It did not work for me and I only ended up getting even more frustrated. Even as a paying premium user I cannot solve this problem. I hope they fix this soon and give us the essential functionality of easily unblocking individual blocked elements on a page.

It's super helpful with blocking ads. After a while, it stops working, but I just reinstall it and it works again. I'm glad this exists because these unskippable ads are really annoying.

Я использую это дополнение после отказа от Adguard, дважды оплатил Adblock Plus. Кажется, новая защита от рекламы работает, также для Youtube, но меня беспокоит, что я не вижу Adblock Plus в списке инсталлированных программ. Что посоветуете сделать? Спасибо. alexfisher@gmx.at
