I used to use Enhancer for YouTube and have been looking for a replacement for this feature ever since. I gotta say, this one works pretty well. However, I have some suggestions for it.

1. I would appreciate a better contrast (like adding a darkened background) so that the value is visible during white video parts too.
2. A cool feature to have would be changing the value simply by scrolling over the marker, which would free up one hand.
3. Consider moving the marker from the top right of the video frame to the video tool bar, so that it can hide automatically.

Most of the time this works pretty well, but like 20% of the time there's no speed up in the corner. The icon appears in the URL box, but it's doing nothing to the youtube video.

Rating 1 star in hopes it gets fixed! it used to work fine but now it only shows on Youtube videos if i add the extension while the video is already playing and it disappears if i switch videos

This is so useful, can't live without it anymore.

I'm not sure why, but this works much better in chrome for higher speeds (like 10x). In firefox the video simply can't keep up and if you pouse or use the progress bar the video won't play anymore.

Just found this Firefox add-on via DuckDuckGo. Exactly what I was looking for! Works great from what I've seen so far. I like that I can change the playback speed directly on the screen just by hovering the mouse in the playback window and clicking the control it adds (note that the control appears/disappears in sync with YouTube's playback control panel, except in full screen mode...). Having the ability to change speeds up/down using the keyboard is nice too (if I remember it works that way!). The control also allows you to specify the increment at which the speed is modified (it appears this came as a result of reviewer requests) and shows me that the developer cares about the functionality of their add-on. Best of all, it's free. Kudos to Toxblh, I'll spread the word!

d'autre parle lentement 1.5 c'est ok ,
et cherche donc un module avec plus d'incrementation 1.125 1.25 1.375 ...
pour que cela soit audible et compréhensible ...

Thrilled to see this came to Firefox - one of the most useful YouTube addons available. Unfortunately, it often remains on the screen even with Hide/Show Playback Panel selected.

Works very well. Simple and to the point.
Perfect solution after the Enhancer for YouTube™ got pulled from Firefox by the author.
