I'm using VDH since some years on different Linux distributions and I'm very satisfied. Although VDH is having multiple features and settings, its use is intuitive and self-explanatory.

You can choose the directory where the downloads are saved, you can see the download progess, the active downloads in other tabs of your Firefox browser and VDH can convert your offline videos from one format to others.
