Turn your favourite GIFs into an animated Firefox theme. Add a GIF and it tiles seamlessly across the toolbar and the vertical tab sidebar, with its own colours, scale and crop. Collect several and let them rotate on a schedule or switch between day and night.

Your GIFs, your way
- Add GIFs, APNG, WebP, PNG or JPG from your computer or a web address
- Scale from 0.1× to 8× with sharp pixel-art or smooth scaling
- Crop to any part of the image and drag to choose where the tiling starts
- Live, animated preview before you save
- Speed up or slow down animations, cap the frame rate, or use a still frame

Readable tabs over any image
- Dim the image, pick text colours automatically, and add fills behind the selected tab
- Menus and the address bar get their own readable colours
- Optional userChrome.css snippet (shown in the settings) adds fills behind unselected tabs and the toolbar

Rotation and scheduling
- Random order or in order (drag thumbnails to arrange them)
- Change GIF after a set time (15 minutes to a week), each time Firefox opens, or every day at a set time
- Day & night: tag GIFs as Day or Night and switch at sunrise and sunset or at fixed times
- Next GIF shortcut (Alt+Shift+G) and right-click menu on the toolbar button

Sync and backup
- Settings sync between computers with Firefox Sync
- GIFs added from a web address download automatically on your other computers
- Export and import a backup of everything

Privacy: everything happens on your computer. The add-on collects no data. Your location, if you use sunrise and sunset, is rounded and never leaves your device.

Desktop only: Firefox for Android doesn't support themes.
