Tab Audio Share от ChikaD

Firefox cannot share a tab's audio: it has no tabCapture API, and getDisplayMedia does not capture tab or system audio. Tab Audio Share fills that gap.

When any website asks to share your screen, this extension shows a menu of tabs that are currently playing media. Pick one, and the website receives a normal video stream WITH the tab's audio included — just like Chrome's "share tab audio". A "use Firefox's native picker" option is always available too.

HOW IT WORKS (fully local)
It captures the chosen tab's HTML5 <video>/<audio> via captureStream() and relays it to the requesting tab through a local WebRTC connection inside your own browser. Nothing is ever sent to any server.

GREAT FOR
Sharing a YouTube video, a movie, a music tab, or any media playback into a web video call — with sound.

LIMITATIONS (honest)
• Works with HTML5 <video>/<audio> elements only.
• DRM content (Netflix, Disney+, Spotify, etc.) cannot be captured.
• System audio and non-media page sound are not captured.
• It captures the tab's media element, not the full page render. For a full-page capture choose Firefox's native picker (but then without tab audio — a Firefox limitation).

PRIVACY
No data collection, no telemetry, no remote servers, no tracking. The broad site access is used only to show the tab picker where you start a screen-share and to read the media of the tab you explicitly select.
