The extension only reads a page when you click its icon or choose one of its Save menus. It then sends that page's address, title, site name, preview image address and readable text, or the text you selected, to our server to make your lesson. It does not read other pages, your history or your tabs.

What is sent, and when: only after a click on the icon or a menu item, to https://scrollandlearn.app/api/extension/save, with this browser's connection key. A page: its address, title, site name, the address of its preview image and its readable text (at most 20,000 characters). A post from a supported social network: only its address. A selection: the selected text, with the page's address, title and site name. Nothing is sent in the background. Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers or used for anything but making the lesson. The text is processed by OpenAI to make the lesson.
