It works as claimed. However the downside I see with this add-on is the size of the generated files. After a short test I made downloading same webpages with SingleFile (SF) and Save Page WE, 50% of the times files were much smaller with SF, 30% of the time with SF were just smaller, 10% identical sizes, and only the remaining 10% of times files downloaded with Save Page WE were smaller.

So very useful. I can save pages that will not save otherwise. It solves problems I had given up on before I found this. I can remove the ads or miscellaneous junk from the content I want. Great for making PDF files or self contained html without a separate directory for style sheets and images. Although it can't overcome every situation, it is so good that it is my every-day workhorse. I love it!

Oopphhs! I meant this review for PrintEdit WE. Save Page WE is 5 star great too, but you cannot edit the content before saving.

Saves the webpage in a single bit html and, indeed, as currently displayed !
Save Page WE does exactly what it's meant to, and it does it damn well. Impressive.

NB: Regarding a review shortly prior to this one, there is an "Always show browser 'Save As' dialog box" option in the app preferences, under the General tab. It also remembers where you saved last.

Unable to save mht format, and only html without resource files, disappointing

Absolutely brilliant. It recognises changes made to the page, such as replacing text on my end, and keeps all site formatting and such. All other addons I've tried have stripped one or both of these, with this one being the only one I've found to have the saved pdf be an exact copy. Perfect for what I need.
