PDF Studio puts a complete PDF toolbox in Firefox's sidebar. Merge, split, convert, compress, sign and edit PDFs without uploading anything. Everything runs locally in your browser. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no data collection.

What you can do

Create

Images to PDF: combine photos and scans into one document, with page size, orientation and margin options. You can also paste images with Ctrl+V.
Text to PDF: write or paste text and get a clean PDF, including Arabic and other non-Latin text.

Convert

PDF to Images: export pages as PNG, JPG or WebP at 72, 150 or 300 DPI.
PDF to Text: extract all text into a .txt file.
PDF to Word: get an editable .docx containing the text (text only, not the exact layout or images).
Image Converter: convert between PNG, JPG and WebP, with optional resizing.

Organize

Merge PDFs, with drag-to-reorder.
Split by page, by every N pages, or by custom ranges.
Extract or delete pages.
Rotate pages.
Page Organizer: reorder, rotate, duplicate and delete pages visually.

Edit

Watermark: custom text, color, opacity, rotation, tiling and page selection.
Page Numbers: several formats, positions, a start number and an option to skip the first page.
Crop: trim margins with a live preview.
Metadata Editor: edit or wipe title, author and more.
Sign PDF: draw your signature and place it exactly where you want it.

Optimize

Compress: a light lossless clean-up, or strong compression for the smallest size.
Grayscale or black & white conversion.
Repair damaged PDFs.
PDF Inspector: page count, sizes, version and metadata at a glance.

Privacy first
PDF Studio makes no network requests and collects no data. Files are processed on your device and never uploaded. Only your settings and simple usage counters are stored locally.

Limitations

Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
Strong compression and grayscale conversion turn pages into images, so text becomes non-selectable.
