Nivareth brings a little winter to the margins of websites you choose. Pick Powder drift, Crystal flakes or Lamplight snow; use the left edge, right edge or both. Adjust the margin from 55 to 150 pixels and density from 15 to 70 flakes per edge. Margins shrink on narrow windows to keep the middle clear.

A shallow snow drift grows when scrolling stops and melts when scrolling resumes. Melt away fades the scene and turns that website off; still mode, hidden tabs and fullscreen turn it off immediately. The overlay allows ordinary clicks, selection, typing and scrolling to pass through.

Enable separately on each website. Access applies to its exact hostname and HTTP/HTTPS scheme, all paths and ports; subdomains and schemes are separate choices. Remember up to 24 websites. The current page updates immediately; other already-open pages may need a reload. Future visits restore the choice. Closing the popup leaves the effect on the page.

Motion follows the system reduced-motion preference, with optional still illustration and gentle animation modes. Low power reduces Canvas resolution. Animation and session time pause while the page is hidden or loses focus. Fullscreen hides the overlay. Reloading or navigating ends an in-progress breathing or warm-pause session; visual settings remain. Long delayed frames do not cause time catch-up.

Works on ordinary top-level HTTP and HTTPS HTML pages. Firefox internal pages, reader view, PDFs, protected Mozilla sites, private windows and policy-restricted pages cannot be decorated. Embedded frames are excluded. No new-tab replacement. No games, audio, accounts, remote assets, analytics or data transmission.

Settings and chosen website identifiers are saved only in extension-local storage. No page text, selected text or typed values are read. Turn off removes the effect and revokes the site's access. Forget this site also removes its settings. The Field guide includes Reset all saved websites. Errors are reported with Retry and refresh controls.
