  • Multiple word highlighting - Add multiple words/phrases to be highlighted, each with individual settings
  • Per-word options:
    Case sensitivity (Aa button) - Toggle case-sensitive matching for each word
    Whole word matching (W button) - Toggle between matching anywhere vs. standalone words only
  • Individual colors - Each word can have its own highlight and text colors
  • Per-site control - Enable/disable each word on specific websites
  • Right-click context menu - Select any text and right-click to access highlighting options:
    Add to highlights (Permanent) - Add words to your saved highlight list
    Add to highlights (Until refresh) - Highlight all instances temporarily
    Highlight this instance only - Highlight just the selected occurrence (great for studying)
    Remove highlight (temporary) - Remove temporary or single-instance highlights
  • Single-instance highlighting - Highlight only one specific occurrence of text, not all matches
  • Perfect for studying or marking specific passages
  • Keyboard shortcut support (default: Alt+H, customizable)
  • Toggle behavior: press shortcut again on highlighted text to remove it
  • Customizable keyboard shortcuts - Configure your own shortcut for single-instance highlighting via the settings panel
  • Auto-save - All changes are saved and applied automatically
  • Collapsible sections - Temporary highlight colors section can be collapsed to save space
  • Expandable word items - Click on a word to expand and customize its colors
  • Scrollable word list - View and manage all your highlighted words in a scrollable list
  • Enable/disable toggle - Quickly turn highlighting on or off
  • Dynamic content support - Uses MutationObserver to highlight text in dynamically loaded content
  • Persistent settings - Settings are saved using browser.storage.local
