Manipulation Index (MX) Privacy Policy

MX does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data. All analysis runs entirely within your browser using local processing.

DATA COLLECTION: None. MX does not collect any data whatsoever.

NETWORK REQUESTS: None. MX makes no external network requests, API calls, or connections to any server.

STORAGE: MX stores only your user preferences (indicator size, position, opacity, disabled sites) using the browser's built-in sync storage. This data never leaves the browser's own sync infrastructure.

TRACKING: None. No analytics, telemetry, cookies, fingerprinting, or any form of tracking.

PERMISSIONS USED:
• activeTab — to read page content for analysis (text only, processed locally)
• storage — to save your preferences
• scripting — to inject the content analysis script

All page content is analyzed in-memory and discarded after each page load. Nothing is persisted, logged, or transmitted.
