KeyJump is local-first. Your shortcuts and settings are stored in your browser, and a new tab makes no network requests. If you choose to create an account (optional), your email and authentication tokens are used only to sync your shortcuts, settings, and recent search terms across your devices — nothing else is collected, nothing is sold or shared. Site icons are fetched from an icon service and cached locally. The on-page overlay (Alt+K) appears only when you invoke it and does not read or modify page content; Alt+Shift+K reads the current page's URL and title only when you press it, to create a shortcut.
