CSS inspector uses local storage to remember the users own interface preferences between sessions. for example light/dark theme, text size. Also the panels position and size, these settings are kept in the pages local storage. Preferences reset on every page so on site where storage is blocked errors are not thrown at the user. no personal info is collected(URLs, browsing history or identifying data) and nothing is transmitted off device
