Is it out of the scope of this add-on to add more advanced operations like: resize image, crop image, color processing (hue, saturation, etc) and drawing?
When I go to save/copy a rotated image, it gives out the original unmodified version. (using nightly)
Save Page WE addon properly saves the modified image.
At the moment, the edit is designed as a visual aid. The effect is achieved by applying styles to change the way image is displayed by the browser. It does not change the image itself.
More options can be added, if there is a demand for it and it can be achieved by the same method.
I will see if it is possible to save the edited image. Rated it before the update finished. It now rotates finally. Good addon.

You can rotate 180°.
Left & Right and 180° would cover all 90° rotations i.e. 90° - 180° - 270°

Works well if you set a default folder for downloads, but if like me you want to be asked where a download should be saved, then Firefox will ask that for EACH file simultaneously like an idiot, a popup nightmare and an astounding bad user experience. What are you thinking at Mozilla!?
RESPONSE 1: When I tried to download image links on a page with 32 images, it DID opened simultaneously 32 prompts, a nightmare. After your response I even tried with a fresh Firefox profile (no add-on, no setting) with the same result. Then I even tried with different settings and I think I found the problem: You may have overlooked the Firefox settings. By default Firefox is configured to ask where to download files, if I set a default directory then nothing is asked. But I (and many others) certainly don't want to use an add-on that force me to change the way I manage my downloads, so you definitely need to change something, like ask for a folder in that case.
RESPONSE 2: Thank you for your response. I have seen Mozilla do a lot of dumb moves, but throwing away its successful extension ecosystem to build a crappy API that can't even download a file properly makes me die a little inside... Well, I think I will need to switch for another browser to find what I need if the API is so badly designed. I will update my review. Thank you again for your efforts!
FoxyImage does NOT ask where to save the image.
Update:
Thank you for the added information.
As I said, FoxyImage does not have any code to ask where to save it.
It is Firefox that is asking you where to save the file since you have not set it in its preferences.
The WE Download API ONLY allows saving to default folder. There is NO other way in WebExtension. If you have decided not to set a default folder, or set "Always ask you where to save files", then the Download API does not have any option but to ask you. Add-ons can not change this Firefox behaviour.
