down load arrow doesnt turn blue (anymore). nothing on the list. Use to work perfectly
Downloads even the most difficult to access videos.
Works very well for identifying and downloading video streams – which subsequently can be watched with a dedicated programme which, unlike your browser, doesn't hog all your computer's RAM and sends the CPU into panic mode.
It was great... you killed it...
If you want to download mp4 you need to install a "FWD Downloader Module". Thats a software for the computer.
Why addons like "Video DownloadHelper" and "Video Downloader Professional" doesn't need software but this programm does?
Easy answer: This addon is bad.
Very happy with the first extension that works with Vimeo. Other ones did not work with the newest version of Firefox 57.0.
Works nicely and don't pester with nagging prompts.
If only it didn't fail to merge the files 2/3 of the time.
Not working too!
totally meet my needs.
Works like it should. Highly recommend!
rapide et efficace!
(I could've sworn I rated this already, but...)
So far, so good. We got this after FF57 killed all our old extensions, and the ant downloader wasn't quite up to snuff yet.
It's worked well, but it seems to have some trouble with streaming videos (e.g. dailymotion), specifically in the area of retry logic. On our somewhat unreliable home DSL, download of some chunks fails for large files (>1MB). Because there doesn't seem to be any built-in retry logic for failed downloads, you get gappy and incomplete videos. It's quite frustrating.
Unless I'm willing to switch to much lower resolutions (with correspondingly smaller chunk sizes), I'm stuck.
Otherwise, this extension is aces, and I'd recommend it. It seems to have a fair amount of features and flexibility, and while it's not as one-click-simple as the ant d/l'er we had before, it's simple enough to not be cumbersome.
Overall, good work! Just fix the retry logic (if possible), and it'll be perfect!
Very good tool !
It works, even with non-standard sites!
Great work on my favorite Firefox download addon.
It's very useful add-on. Recommended.
