chessvision от Harshit Pawar

Turn any chess position on your screen into an interactive board analysis in one click.

chessvision is a fast, lightweight browser extension that uses on-device computer vision to recognize chessboards and pieces directly in your browser. Whether you are studying an online chess book, watching a grandmaster stream, or reading an article, chessvision instantly converts static diagrams into interactive analysis.

Key Features:
- Scan from Anywhere: Capture boards from websites, YouTube videos, Twitch streams, chess books, news articles, and social media.
- Instant Analysis: Automatically infers board orientation, castling rights, side to move, and opens the position directly in Lichess analysis with modern Stockfish 19 NNUE.
- Local inference. Image recognition runs entirely in WebAssembly. No screenshots leave your browser.
- No tracking. No account, no API keys, and no telemetry.
- Open source. Licensed under GNU GPL v3.0 on GitHub.

How to Use:
1. Click the chessvision icon in your browser toolbar.
2. Click Select Board and drag a box around any chessboard on the page.
3. The board position is recognized instantly and loaded into Lichess analysis!
