  • What it does — opens with the everyday annoyance (a server tab that reappears at every startup, a page that reopens itself) rather than the mechanism, so someone who doesn't know what
    "URL pattern" means still gets it
  • How to use it — three numbered steps, with the * wildcard explained as "anything can follow" instead of as a pattern syntax
  • Things that make it easier to live with — the tester, the pause switch, syncing across devices, and the guard against locking yourself out
  • Privacy — no account, no tracking, no internet connection, and the important distinction spelled out simply: it looks at a tab's address, never at what's on the page
