AstoundDrive - Google Drive as Encrypted ZIP от Astound Technology

Download any Google Drive folder as a password-protected ZIP file, directly from your browser. AES-256 encryption, recursive subfolders, Google Workspace export (Docs, Sheets, Slides) no OAuth or API keys needed. Everything runs locally, nothing leaves your machine.

AstoundDrive adds a "Download ZIP" button to the Google Drive toolbar. Click it, pick a filename, set a password (or skip it for a regular ZIP), and the extension handles the rest — scanning subfolders, downloading files, encrypting, and saving the archive.

Works with Shared Drives and My Drive. Google Workspace files are exported automatically (Docs → docx, Sheets → xlsx, Slides → pptx, Drawings → png). Supports folders up to 20 levels deep.

No data collection, no analytics, no tracking. The extension only connects to Google's own servers using your existing browser session. Encryption is handled by zip.js (BSD-3-Clause), a well-known open-source library.
