Simply works! Thanks for the handy extension

Google recently (August 2024) began chopping the ends off of emails in my inbox for no apparent reason, even if said emails weren't overly long. Downloaded this extension, refreshed the page, and the problem was immediately fixed. So far, I've had no issues viewing anything and clearing my inbox has become far less of a headache.

This is a really great add-on! Ii do have a couple cases where I have to turn it off to get something to display correctly. Almost everything else is much better because of it, and most messages from my bank are fine but I have a few recurring messages from them that I screen capture for my records and while the email loads I can see it until it finishes loading and it all disappears. I don't mind this and It's not really a complaint, just something I find odd. It's very simple to switch it off for a few minutes to do what I want to do then switch it back on for everything else. Thank You for making it, it is appreciated.

EDIT: Unfortunately it's been having issues for the past few months where it "flickers" and you lose your scrolled spot. Much less useful now. Hope the author can fix this but the Github hasn't been updated in 6 years so not very hopeful.

Well, that seems to do the job pretty much perfectly. Needs permission to access mail.google account, but guess that's required.

Someone please show me what this does, I can't see it or any difference in my Gmail on or off. Sorry, this doesn't seem to work or do anything as far as I can tell.

it was working perfectly beofre but since 5 days ago, it stop working ... with latest firfox

I'm not sure what "trimmed" gmail means, but I was trying to avoid clipped messages. This did not work at all.
