OttoMagic - Browser Control w/GPAL's REST API de Software Decisions, Inc.

OttoMagic lets you control your browser with a REST API.

Send HTTP requests to GPALRestAPI from any language (C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, curl) and OttoMagic carries them out in the browser you already use, with your profile, logins and cookies intact. No WebDriver, no driver downloads, no separate automation browser.

OttoMagic is the execution half of the GPAL automation toolchain. OttoMatic records what you do and generates GPAL code; OttoMagic and GPALRestAPI run that code against live pages.

WHAT IT DOES
• User input: clicks (left, double, middle, right), drag and drop, modifier keys, typing and key presses, targeted by selector.
• Hard-to-reach elements: works inside shadow roots and nested iframes, so workflows keep running in web components and embedded content.
• Element and page state: check whether an element is clickable, displayed, enabled or in view before acting, so workflows wait for the page instead of guessing with fixed delays.
• Data extraction: read DOM attributes and properties, computed CSS, element positions and page content, and capture the network calls a page makes.
• Full browser control: navigation, tabs and windows, scrolling, downloads with filename control, cookies, user agent and referrer headers.
• Built-in controller: open /controller for a workflow builder page where you can create, save and load workflows and run them with just OttoMagic and GPALRestAPI, no GPAL code needed.

REQUIREMENTS
OttoMagic talks to GPALRestAPI on your machine through native messaging.

The browser starts GPALRestAPI when OttoMagic loads; it only has to be installed. Everything runs locally
