Welcome to Gemini Expressive! This Privacy Policy explains how fertwbr ("we," "us," or "our") handles information
when you use our Gemini Expressive browser extension (the "Service").

Our commitment is to your privacy. Gemini Expressive is designed as a local-first utility. It enhances your browser
experience without relying on external servers, analytics, or tracking mechanisms.

This Privacy Policy reflects compliance with Brazilian privacy and digital protection laws, including the Lei Geral de
Proteção de Dados (LGPD) and the Lei nº 15.211/2025 ("ECA Digital"), which establishes additional protections for
minors in digital environments.

1. Information We Process

To provide UI enhancements and productivity tools, the extension processes data strictly within your browser
environment:

a) Browser Storage (Local & Sync)

Purpose: The extension needs to remember your personalized settings to function correctly across sessions.

Data Stored:

• Your selected Material You theme color and appearance mode (Light/Dark/Auto).
• Your feature toggle preferences (e.g., Timeline enabled, Code Collapsing enabled).
• Your custom Prompt Snippets and shortcuts.

Processing & Sharing:

• Local Use: This data is saved using your browser's native storage.local and storage.sync APIs.
• Syncing: If you have browser synchronization enabled (e.g., Chrome Sync), your settings and snippets will securely
  sync across your devices using your browser's encrypted ecosystem.
• No External Servers: We do not have access to this data. It is never transmitted to fertwbr servers or any
  third-party databases.

b) Website Content (DOM Access)

Purpose: To inject the timeline, collapse code blocks, and apply dynamic CSS themes, the extension must read and
modify the Document Object Model (DOM) of the Gemini interface.

Processing & Sharing:

• Real-time processing: The extension scans the chat interface locally in real-time to detect code blocks, user
  prompts, and AI responses.
• Zero Data Collection: We do not record, log, intercept, or transmit any of your conversation history, prompts,
  or Gemini's responses. All DOM manipulation happens live on your machine and is immediately discarded when you close
  the tab.

2. Permissions

To provide the Service, Gemini Expressive requires the following standard browser extension permissions:

• storage: Required to save your extension preferences and prompt snippets locally.
• host permissions (*://gemini.google.com/*): Required to run our styling and scripts exclusively on the Gemini
  web interface. The extension remains entirely dormant on all other websites.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, collect, or share your personal information or browsing data with advertisers, analytics
providers, or any third parties. The extension makes zero external API calls to our servers.

4. Data Security, Retention, and Deletion

Security:
Because all operations occur locally within your browser's sandboxed environment, your data is protected by your
browser's built-in security architecture.

Retention & Deletion:

• All your saved settings and prompt snippets are retained only as long as you keep the extension installed.
• You can instantly delete all your data by removing/uninstalling the Gemini Expressive extension from your browser.
  Doing so wipes the associated storage.local data immediately.

5. Children's Privacy

The Service is safe for all ages as it does not collect personal data.

In accordance with Brazilian digital protection laws, including the ECA Digital (Lei nº 15.211/2025), the extension
follows strict data minimization and privacy-by-design principles.

Gemini Expressive:

• Does not create behavioral profiles of users.
• Does not perform cross-site tracking.
• Does not use advertising identifiers.
• Does not collect personal data of any kind.

6. No Behavioral Tracking or Profiling

Gemini Expressive is designed purely as a UI enhancement tool and does not include systems for:

• Behavioral analytics profiling
• Targeted advertising
• Engagement manipulation
• Social tracking systems

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy if new features require different permissions. We will notify you of any significant
changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
