FoxBridge lets an AI assistant you control (any Model Context Protocol client, e.g. Claude) read and drive your real, logged-in Firefox — not a scraper on a throwaway browser, but your actual session.

With the companion FoxBridge MCP server (npm: foxbridge-mcp), your assistant can:
• Read any page as structured data (DOM, text, links, storage) instead of screenshots
• Act on sites as you: open/close tabs, navigate, click, type, scroll, wait for content
• Call a site’s own APIs with your session and watch its live network requests
• Download files with your auth

Everything runs locally. This extension transmits nothing off-device — it only bridges to a local server (127.0.0.1) that you install and control. It is open source (MIT): https://github.com/sinamohsenifar/foxbridge-mcp

Note: because it can read cookies and act on any logged-in site on your behalf, only use it with an assistant you trust.
