How it works
Focus Blade operates through content scripts and a background service worker. When you visit a site on your blocked list or a supported social media platform, the extension checks your current settings (focus mode, break schedule, allowed URLs, and active timers). If conditions match, it shows a friendly alert with actionable choices and helpful copy. For supported social feeds, the eradicator panel can hide the feed and display a motivating message instead of a modal, giving you a calm, distraction-free experience.

Privacy & permissions
Focus Blade only requests the permissions it needs: tab access to detect site visits, storage to persist your settings and timers, and optional identity integration for syncing. We do not collect or transmit browsing content. All settings (blocked sites, timers, profiles) are stored locally in your browser unless you choose to sign in and sync.
