Ничего не работает.В топку такие расширения.
Please send me an e-mail or open an issue in the support page about this, letting me know exactly what doesn't work, and if that also happens when you disable all your other add-ons. This is almost definitely a conflict with another add-on, and I'll need to know which it is in order to solve the incompatibility.
Нет никакой панели поиска Rated 1 out of 5 stars
После установки поиск не изменился практически, никакой панели поиска нет, ничего кроме исчезающей вкладочки, которой неудобно пользоваться.
Я пробовал нажимать Ctrl + F - выходит маленькая панель и все.
Have you tried hitting Ctrl+F or using Firefox's own "Find" button? This add-on doesn't include a new find bar, it only enhances the already existing one in Firefox. If that's not what you meant, please send me an e-mail or open an issue in the support page, describing exactly what is (or isn't) happening.
Excellent, but seemed to slow down Firefox a little Rated 3 out of 5 stars
An excellent extension. Great functionality. Very flexible.
It seemed to slow down Firefox a little (not a lot), so had to take off a couple stars. Perhaps that can be improved.
Findbar Tweak Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Excellent add-on makes looking through search results much much easier and is a god send for visually impaired users...
Keep up the good work and thank you
Very customizable Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Some features must be by default in browser.
Significantly improves text search functionality! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Shows hits relative to page location in the scrollbar like chrome, and the "find all" feature (press "Find All" or Alt+L after a search) is awesome!

"3 hours spent in last 90 days". Thanks for no regex work. This user has 4 previous reviews of this add-on.
Going beyond the fact that regex search is a highly complex feature to implement correctly, quoting only the time I spent on FBT is unfair, and very disheartening honestly, because if you can see that counter then you surely must also understand in what context it is being shown... Taking it out of context like that is just wrong. For instance, I have spent over 500 hours across all my add-ons (granted a lot was for Tab Groups) in the last five months. Considering the support I've received for FBT has been far below enough to justify my *full* time and dedication to *just* implementing regex, to reply to your statement, you're welcome.
There is a lot going on in the world of Firefox add-ons; for instance before anything else I must ensure FBT keeps working in future versions of Firefox, as attention and development efforts are shifted towards WebExtensions. This means possibly having to rewrite the whole thing even! That is a huge task to undertake, which I will not complicate further by bringing extra (overly complex!) features into the mix at this time. Ensuring the add-on keeps working takes precedence over absolutely everything else.
And that includes deep changes to the find and highlighting mechanisms that are coming in a future version of Firefox (possibly 50). I am not looking forward to integrating those with FBT (which of course will be necessary, otherwise the add-on just won't work at all), as I foresee having to dedicate days on end, possibly weeks, to *just* do that.
Not to mention I haven't had a proper workstation for a couple of weeks now, where I can properly work on things, so there's that too.
All this to say, I do appreciate your continued support for this long, but you must understand that, despite my best intentions, FBT or any of my other add-ons is not my life, so making sarcastic passive-aggressive demands like that really helps no one, not me and definitely not you. ;)
Actually works, and is delicate Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Pretty much was aiming for find bar on top, found couple of other things too
Great, but can't search in tab titles Rated 5 out of 5 stars
In v 2.1.10 it can't search in the *titles* of tabs.
Often the title text is in text of the page, but not always. Eg, for my roundcube email, the string "Webmail" is in the tab title and not on the page and FindBar didnt find it.
The other usage (even bigger) is re-load firefox and restore tabs, and unloaded pages (in tabs) have titles but no page content. Very important for me personally to be able to find these tabs without having to load all the corresponding pages.
I submitted a request for this feature: https://github.com/Quicksaver/FindBar-Tweak/issues/260
Criticism aside, searching content in all tabs on page, or all tabs in all windows, works GREAT with this addon. Most tab-searching addons are limited to only searching the tabs in this one window. FindBar has a mode where you search all tabs in all windows. Very helpful!!!!
Also The "sighting" visual circle zeroing-in thing (kinda like a GPS maps location circle) is very helpful to see where on the page it is.
we need a Chrome version, pls Rated 5 out of 5 stars
could you develop an extension for Chrome as well, although we can highlight the search term on the scroll bar, we need hightlight at least two words on the different scroll bar simultaneously.
I don't make extensions for chrome. Even if I did, something like this is just not possible there.
Addon and the developer are both awesome. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great customer support and a phenomenal product!
Makes the search bar look nearly identical to the one in Google Chrome Rated 5 out of 5 stars
While I much preferred to use a style to achieve this, changes within Firefox itself made it break. This extension fixes that. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.9).
Slow on large pages Rated 1 out of 5 stars
It's dead on 9MB pages. 100% cpu time.
Tried with 2.1.10. Pretty much same thing. And it's not "thousands of matches". On 0 match it works around 2 minutes. If I write 7 letter word, I guessing it will work at least 14 minutes, because it does something after each keypress.
It's not so much the size of the page, but how many matches it has. If you search for text that has thousands of matches in a page... well, yeah it's going to be slow.
The latest update (2.1.10, uploaded today) introduces a few improvements to memory and processing handling of tabs.
If that update doesn't help with your case, or if you think that's not what is causing the slowdown, please either e-mail me or open an issue in the support page about this, so that we can communicate properly as I'll need more information, otherwise there isn't anything I can do about it.
Nice work ! But ! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Real great addon. Just lack either regex search ability or compatibility with 'Regex Find' addon (in fact, when Findbar Tweak is enable, regex search won't work but if I disable it, it works again). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.9).
Adding compatibility with that add-on is just impossible because of the way it is constructed (not multiprocess friendly). On the positive side, that is a feature that's already planned, but it's far from simple to implement (correctly).

A rather powerful tool, Findbar tweak has been my default "finder" for half a year now... I don't even know how to find things on my "regular Chrome" session. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.9).
It works! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I use it and its great settings. Options – this is very good.
After the update search does not work until you reboot – norestart does not work. But it is predictable.
EDIT: Starting with the next version, this should no longer happen.
Yep, that's a known bug that I hope to fix for the next update.
Work flawlessly Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It does just what it promises, and the visual hints are something I can't believe I lived so long without! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.9).
Awesome addition to search tool Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love two features of this addon. First one is creating animated circle around found phrase that helps to focus on it. Second feature I like is painting marks on scrollbar of approximate position of found phrase. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.9).
Very useful and well made! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thanks a lot for this very important add-on.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.9).
You're very welcome, I'm glad you like it. :)
