well, one day . . . Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Back when this worked, it really had me feeling like I wasn't sacrificing anything to stick with firefox over chrome. Call it a hunch but I feel good that it will eventually work again.

Trust your gut. ;)

Ctrl-F not working correctly. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Ctrl-F opens the find and focus there, but only one time, until you close it again, manually. Also after opening, Ctrl-F no longer closes it, even though that option is still selected.

Ctrl+F issue, and a suggestion Rated 5 out of 5 stars

-Please fix Ctrl+F issue.

-Suggestion:
Can you add more than one search bar? Sometimes I'm looking for more than one string and don't want to clear search box, type something else and later clear again and retype the previous string. Would be nice.

Thanks

Wonderful. Thanks Quicksaver for publishing this under Mozilla Public Licence. I am using Firefox 38 on Centos 7.1.

CTRL-F issue Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The same issue as reported by smartsight: Ctrl-F works annoyingly bad: doesn't moves focus to findbar again; if adjusted to "Ctrl-F should also close findbar", this doesn't work either. Besides this, great add-on.

Great addon, but as of Firefox 38, pressing CTRL+F no longer moves focus to the FindBar (at least on Windows 8.1), making its use much more cumbersome by having to click in the FindBar edit box for a new search.

I test beta version 2b2 in FF35.
Search text is not removed in other tabs now. This is good news.
But bad news is "Find in All Tabs in own separate window" is by default now and this checkbox was removed.
It's very uncomfortable because this window loses focus every time when you select prev/next result of searching.
By the way, window loses focus even if you click in any place of a scrollbar. I think it's a bug.

The Find in All Tabs lists will be back to the main window, I am planning to write a whole new mode to show them there that's easier and more intuitive to use than it was before. So this is only a temporary measure.

As for the focus bug, I'm not sure of what you mean, can you please e-mail me about it or open an issue in the support thread and give me exact steps to reproduce this?

In 2b2, when I use keyboard shortcut cmd+F to open search bar in OS X 10.10.3, the search bar cannot get the input focus. (Firefox 37.0.3, but it works well in firefox 38 beta)
and When I use the "reset all changed native settings" function, the firefox will be stuck.

Does not work with Firefox 25.0

I use this add-on more times than I can count every day! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent Add-on and top-notch customer service. The developer answered my email question within minutes and gave a detailed solution. Note that the problem was not with the FindBar Tweak, but rather with a setting I had changed on my browser. A++ Add-on!

Feature Request Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Could you add a x button inside findbar that clear the text inside of it. Also a paste button would be useful, it clears the findbar and pastes the clipboard content much easier.

what a big bunch of useful features! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works great! I love all the things it does and it helps a lot!

unfortunately "Mozilla Labs: Prospector - Find Suggest" stopped working, when this addon is active/enabled.

Failed to find the way to keep the same search query for all tabs as it is by default without this extension.

Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works as advertised. Too bad I didn't stumble upon this great addon earlier.

Works perfectly. Restores that great findbar feature that Chrome has, with all the examples shown in the scrollbar. Awesome!

Very nice addon. Would like regex/fuzzy search feature. Also suggest to change the preference window into a tab page design which fits better with the new FF design. Thanks for ur wonderful work.

I'm glad you like the add-on! Those features are already planned, and I'm working on the add-on as we speak. :)

Very nice . its got a few unneccessary features which blow it and make it a bit slow(but thats more frefox´s problem than this addons) but its very comfortable and i will keep this installed

I'm glad you like the add-on!

It's true that the add-on has many different features, but those features that you don't want or need, you can just disable them in the preferences and they won't be even loaded into memory. I'm also already working on the next version of the add-on, which should have a performance boost all over.

When Find bar is in the top right corner, the bar flickers (rapidly changes in size back and forth) when I am typing, because number of matches is rewritten with every keystroke. This makes it very uncomfortable to use it in top right corner. It's fine when it page wide (with corner option turned off), but I don't want the content of the page moving.
