DomainIntel does nothing until you click its toolbar button. When you click it, it sends one value to our server: the hostname of the tab you are on. Not the full URL, not the path, not the page content.

We record that hostname with a timestamp in a request log, so we can see how much the extension is used. It is not linked to your IP address, a cookie, an account or any other identifier, because there is no account system and none is sent.

Results are cached in your browser using storage.session, which the browser clears when it closes. Nothing is stored on your device beyond that.

We do not sell, rent or share your data. We do not serve advertising and there are no advertising trackers. We do not create user accounts or profiles. We do not collect names, email addresses, postal addresses or payment details. We do not track you across websites.
