Daily Browsing Report turns your day of browsing into a report you can actually read: total hours, hours by category, your top sites by time spent, your top sites by number of visits, and an hour-by-hour timeline of when you were at the keyboard.

Measured honestly. Time is credited to exactly one site at a time — the active tab of the focused window, while you are not idle. A video left playing in a background window while you work does not become four hours of "browsing". The clock stops when you switch to another application, and stops when you stop typing.

No browsing history is kept. The extension stores running totals per site per day: an amount of time and a visit count. That is all. No URLs, no page titles, no page content, and no record of what you visited in what order. Because a day is stored as totals rather than as events, it cannot be read back as a history. Totals are deleted automatically after 7 days by default, and never leave your browser.

Settings. Change the idle threshold, keep more or fewer days of history, exclude sites you never want recorded, correct any site filed under the wrong category, and delete everything with one click. Private windows are not tracked unless you turn that on.
