MediathekViewWeb-Filter
This add-on is formost a very crude attempt to fix the issue that you cannot exclude search results. Secondly I added a function to color in recent search results.

What?
- Specify arbitrary strings to filter out search results.
- Specify a time window (relative to the current date) and a color; any result whose date falls within that span will be highlighted in your chosen color.

The maintainer of MediathekViewWeb has already announced a fix for this issue, but this was in 2019.

Why?
- Temporary workaround until the upstream fix is available; provides control over which results are hidden and which are emphasized.
- Own need for coloring in the search results. ^^

How?
- Use the add-on options to:
- Add or remove filter strings.
- Set the date range and choose the highlight color.
- Toggle which filters are active.
- Active filters remove matching results; results within the configured date span are colored.

Required permissions:
- Monitor extension usage and manage themes — to detect dark/light browser theme for proper highlighting.
- Access your data for sites in the mediathekviewweb.de domain — to read, filter, and color the search results on MediathekViewWeb.

Notes:
- The extension only modifies MediathekViewWeb pages; it does not send your data anywhere.
