Thanks for reaching out to us! After some research we found that after the update users saw "always use private browsing mode" enabled in FF. Disabling this allows ABP to run as normal. To do this, click the settings menu icon in the right corner of the browser > settings >privacy & security > scroll down to the history section > choose "Use custom settings for history" from the drop down menu > uncheck "always use private browsing mode". If you need more assistance please contact us via support@adblockplus.org.

I got the ad every day, until I uninstalled the extension.

We are indeed currently running a contribution campaign, therefore a contribution popup might appear (it will only happen once per user), but the user can simply close it and continue browsing. Adblock Plus remains a completely free extension and all contributions are 100% voluntary.
If you are seeing the popup constantly, we apologize for the inconvenience. Now it is NOT. Time to move to uBlock Origin folks, where ALL ads, not just the ones Ad Block Plus hasn't been paid to show you are blocked. There is no good reason why the Admiral bs can't be blocked using Ad Block Plus other than it being by design. So long and thanks for all the fish!
