Image Zoom Scroll

Generally, works very well Avaliado em 4 de 5 estrelas

Yes, the "instructions" (description) are lacking.

(1) It only works in the Firefox image viewer as far as I can tell. This is a very good thing since it gives the image viewer something it needs. You also have to hover the image with the mouse cursor (which really shouldn't be necessary since you're in the image viewer).

(2) It doesn't disable page scroll (using the mouse wheel) in the viewer if you zoom the image large enough to get the scrollbar. It should.

(3) The zoom percentage is displayed in the top left corner. Given that the mouse wheel is a very unreliable device as far as calibrating scroll/zoom amounts, there should be an option to "step zoom" through set percentages like a typical image viewer. There's no reset to 100% other than reloading the page. You can zoom in with, say, 4 "clicks" of the wheel, but 4 "clicks" zoom out won't reliably set you back at 100% (hence the need for a "step zoom" and/or reset option). So, there's no actual control of the zoom amount--not a real problem, just not your typical image viewer zoom either.

Basically, it works as designed, which is pretty good--a "quick & dirty" scroll wheel zoom. The design, though, could be improved (along with the description).
EDIT: :Uhh: I was playing around with the Fx image viewer and discovered that, even if you've set page zoom to text-only, image zoom works in the image viewer using the same methods as with page zoom--zoom control buttons and wheel mouse (holding down the Ctrl key). So, there's your "step zoom" (and wheel mouse zoom, in text-based tiny increments)--limited by your zoom settings, with its default of 300% max--though you can up that in about:config).

Saved Password Editor

That darned Mozilla... Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

I just came across the recent bug at Bugzilla where I found out that they're going to be removing the 'Show Passwords' button (How dare we want to see all of our passwords at one time!!!) as yet another Mozilla UX boner. Well, I hope this doesn't cause too much hassle for SPE to continue providing that function (till the complete removal of XUL/XPCOM make every really useful extension a no-go).

Oh, and good job. :)

On Fx44--still working fine, no other add-ons required Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

The add-on/statusbar stub is still there in Fx44, so a little CSS is all I need to make it visible and use it. Love it!

Close Button

2 things I like best about this extension Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

1) Using CSS I have this large, red button on my toolbar that's easy to see and quick to click.
2) Those tab animations that you get when clicking the close button on the tabs just don't happen; click this button, and they're just gone.

On Fx44 now--still works (as expected from something that does one, simple job, and does it well).

Very nice Avaliado em 4 de 5 estrelas

Currently on Fx44, set to auto-hide--sometimes it forgets to hide on focus, have to restart Firefox for it to hide again (for awhile).
Edit: as far as I can tell, it's caused by using Customize, even if you do nothing with the addon bar. Bothersome--might get used to it, might not. Should be fixable.

My Notepad

Excellent! Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

This is about as simple and to the purpose as it gets. Granted, you don't need an extension to do this... So! you should add some options (for things one can also do with CSS)--stuff like picking a font, colors, and such. For example, I've made mine look more like the old Word for DOS screen (retro). You could have "themes" for users to pick from?

Feed Sidebar

XUL rules! Mozilla drools. Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

I'll be sorry to see this add-on disappear. It's the best Live Bookmarks enhancer around--actually makes Live Bookmarks useful. Plus, it adds another great use for the sidebar (the single best concept Firefox offers--not even close to "out-dated").

Thanks for the work you've put into it.

Show the Image

Still works quite well (Fx43) Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

Very useful for those feeds that used to have an image but now only provide a link to a page with the image--right-click the link and select the 'Show Image following this link' menu-item. ;)

Fire Commander

I like the concept. Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

I'd like to have a simple file commander that provides the simple and most-used functions and interface of Norton Commander; this is almost there (but not quite). Since this is a XUL package for Mozilla, I'd rather it use the browser as the viewer and editor (CodeMirror at the moment).

DOM Inspector

In Firefox 37... Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

Copy Selector is missing from the context menu (possibly the single most-used menu item). UPDATE: After still more research, I find that the Copy Selector tool is installed into DOM Inspector by Stylish (which, if I ever knew, then I must have forgotten). Yet another reason why Stylish is essential.

Yahoo™ Notifier Pro

Thanks -- seems to work well and do what it's supposed to Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

Thanks mostly, though, for giving me the idea to use the mobile Y! mail UI in the Fx Responsive Design View instead of Yahoo's full-blown webmail page -- it's a lot more "quiet".

Statusbar Clock

This seems to still work in Fx35 *if* Avaliado em 4 de 5 estrelas

you edit the install.rdf and change the max version for the target application (aka Firefox) to something not less than '35.0.1' (or whatever you're running) *AND* you use an add-on that restores a statusbar (so it has a place to put the clock). Good display customization options.

Perfect. Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

aka "what Mozilla should have done with restart in Australis" (well, they did want to make things more "user-friendly" didn't they? ...right?)

Evernote Web Clipper

Latest and greatest Avaliado em 4 de 5 estrelas

The latest v6 beta hosted at Evernote (go to the Web Clipper forum there) works much better than the old version that AMO has approved (sort of) for hosting here, at least on Fx35 (haven't tried it with older Fx releases). Of course, just because it fixed the problem(s) I was having with the previous beta doesn't mean it'll fix yours. I'd give it 5 stars if they'd implement annotation for Firefox (which they have in other browsers). I'm told that once v6 is out of beta that the feature set will be fairly uniform across all browsers (barring some function(s) not supported by a browser).

Fx35 + Puzzle Toolbars = Firesizer working fine Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

Using Puzzle Toolbars, which restores a "shadow" statusbar (while Mozilla still supports it), I've got the Firesizer statusbar text display/button up on my nav-bar (which has plenty of space on it--widescreen). Still, you know Mozilla is going to kill the statusbar eventually...

More than a stick! Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

The Stylish Sidebar Manager is dead (in Stylish 2.x). :( Long live the OmniSidebar Add-ons Sidebar User Styles tab! :) ...doesn't look too different--maybe even better. Thanks!

list-it: take notes quickly! (listit,

Still works & looks OK in Fx44 Avaliado em 4 de 5 estrelas

[1st review--Fx29]The toolbar button images need an extra pixel height/width to look "right". The status bar button is gone (w/o using some add-on to bring the bar back), but using the Sidebars List extension gives easier access to the sidebar (and any sidebar for that matter) [EDIT1--Fx35] , not that you couldn't simply use the View menu or the hot-keys. Also, still working fine in Fx35, too. List-it is about the closest thing I've seen to Evernote's old "endless ribbon" for simple note-taking. [EDIT3--Fx44] Works same as always. I now just use a little CSS to unhide the native statusbar/addon-bar in Firefox to make this and another add-on's statusbar icons/text visible (at the far right on the Bookmarks Toolbar).

Feed Sidebar

Lightweight goodness Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

All you need; nothing you don't.
(Actual rating: 4 and a half stars -- minus one half for sidebar buttons (padding) being to wide to all fit on default-width sidebar; easy to fix with CSS though.)

Sidebars List

Works fine with Firefox 29 and Australis, too. Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

Given that Mozilla removed the Bookmarks and History Sidebar toolbar buttons in Fx29, it's good that this still works. Thanks.

Classic Theme Restorer

Less ("use small icons") is more [space for content]. Avaliado em 5 de 5 estrelas

Australis might just be the dumbest thing yet to come from Mozilla.
