It is 2020.
So many bad things happened.
Bad news, bad dream, bad reality, bad add-ons.
Firefox still exists, so I still am for it.
However, add-ons which were good & free, were no longer the way they were. I did try relentlessly to find the "downloader" add-on that works with no gimmick day after day. Until 7 days had gone by.
The search turned up for there were only 7 of the Abrahim, ahem, I meant, add-ons of its kind that shown up as result.
However, I tried to use them each, but none did work.... of course, even if you use 7 altogether, they still no miracle. All of them now only works for the sake of worldly gain, for there were no miracle left in the hand of holy land.
Then, I found the "Ant".
It works. End of story. Fin.

    Good add-on, but have some bugs, which I reported on your site. BTW can you add option to turn off number of videos on add-on button. IMO this info is pretty annoying.

    Asks you to install a native application. So not a pure firefox plugin. Security wise a big no-no.

    Please note that Native Application is used for downloading streaming video.
    You are able to use extension without Native Application but downloads will be limited by non streaming video.

    with this add on i cannot see the live in www.la7.it, here :
    https://www.la7.it/dirette-tv
    cause it overload the cpu and FF crash and some time also the whole pc crash...it is so frustrating at all..

    Downloads work. as side effects breaks work of many websites including steam, coub, and more.

    Too often the file titles start with the resolution (like 1920x1080 how to make a review 101.mp4) and there is always many downloads possible, we have to check and pick the biggest file to download (not the files with just a couple kb of size) this is very annoying, except that it work nicely.

    Resolution was added by the users requests to distinguish the video with similar title. In further versions we will made this feature optional.

    Works great for downloading most videos.
    Gave only 3 stars because of the annoying tab "Ant.com" that pops up now and then after the add-in is upgraded and when you restart Firefox. I wish I could turn that off!

    The best add-on for downloading videos on ANY website. Way better than the other big add-ons. With the Windows app installed, it works even better!
