por halic, há 2 mesesThis is an outstanding addon that makes an excellent quality PDF from any webpage of your choice. The beauty is that it makes a pretty much perfect copy of the website, and saves it to your desktop as an html file. That file can then be turned into high quality Pdf by opening it in a browser, and using the browsers ‘Print function/menu’ to save it locally, as a Pdf. So, brilliant right? Well yes, but there is a problem. Previous to a week ago, all SingleFile Pdf’s were saved using OCR. In other words, the Pdf created was an editable [copy and paste from the Pdf] document. Of late, I have noticed that this is no longer the case. All my latest saved Pdf’s using the SingleFile addon are now saved as image-Pdf's 😒 instead of 'true' editable Pdf's. Can this be fixed? Otherwise ❤ your Addon, thank you. *UPDATE* - After 're-jigging' my firefox installation + a reboot or two, the issue is resolved [as the dev suggested it would be]. So I am all chuffed again now, and have re-rated this great addon with 5 stars 😊 Thank you for your prompt response👍

publicado há 2 mesesThank you for the review! The behavior/bug you describe is not related to SingleFile but rather to Firefox. The only thing that could be causing this problem from my point of view would be related to the settings in the “File format” section of the options page in SingleFile. You have to make sure the file format is “HTML”. You can also reset the settings to see if it fixes the issue.
UPDATE - I'm glad to hear the issue is resolved! 😊

- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Luciano_077, há 2 diasWhen I try to install it on Firefox for Android version 115, it doesn't work, it says it's not compatible. I've used the desktop version for several years and I haven't had any problems, it's very good. Thanks to the developers.

publicado há 2 diasI'm sorry about that. Note that the version 115 is quite old and that it was one of the first versions to support Web Extensions on Android. This might be the cause of the issue. The extension should work properly in more recent versions of Firefox for Android. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por alijsh, há 5 dias

When Moz canceled Addons in Firefox, oh it was a grievous act, especially because I lost SingleFile use. After years of holding a faint hope that SingleFile would come back ... I found it again! For Android. Oh, joyful day! Truly.
I fiddled with the settings to my heart's content, and SingleFile works like a champ in my peruser. 'Save as PDF' of the peruser often clips-off wide text lines; SingleFile gives me a clean copy of a webpage. Something I disliked is that ISO date/time vars only emit Zulu time; I want the ISO format for local date/time. But I recommend SingleFile with a high-five.
Side annoyance: Android won't open with a peruser an HTML file living in mobile storage, *sigh*. So I use an HTML editor that has a 'display html' function to view my saved web pages. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por alex946, há um mês

The "save webpage" function that comes with Firefox or Google Chrome is very ineffective and will export a bunch of code with unclear meaning, while your plug-in will export a complete HTML document.
Some websites prohibit copying of its content, use your plugin to save first and then copy, this works great! - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Gummi, há 2 meses
