I never paid much attention to macrons, because spaces and punctuation is definitely all that's necessary that the Romans didn't use. Macrons can be helpful for learning, but aren't necessary after that. I'm just glad that I can put in whatever case, gender, number/voice, mood, tense, number, person I need without being called out on it. Of course, you have to distinguish in many cases from V and U, but that's no big deal. Est verendum.
- por Uriah Eisenstein, há 10 anosAvaliado em 4 de 5Nice one for posting Latin in forums! One thing that is bothering me, though, is that it doesn't seem to handle macrons (long vowel signs) consistently, reporting an error on them in some words but not in others. It'd be really nice if it could check vowel lengths as well :) But for starters, ignoring them would be good.
- por PERCE-NEIGE, há 11 anosAvaliado em 5 de 5Please, don't add bad reviews and ratings for things which are only due to Mozilla and not to this addon.
The policy of updating can be bypassed by using Nightly Tester tools, or wait or harass developpers for an update, but don't lower the rating because this addon is good indeed.
I love the fact we can do classical studies with Firefox! - por wilscco, há 11 anosAvaliado em 5 de 5Not having Latin is too bad, muy malo, nom me lo spiegare.
Hope we can have Latin back soon. Retornadlo, ricordalo... muito útil, quod ad me attinet.
Grates agere - por EZZ, há 12 anosAvaliado em 5 de 5Hiya! I upgraded to Firefox 3.5 just to find out that Latin Dictionary is not working (yet). Are you going to fix that? I hope so. Gratias tibi in advance!
