(YouTube becomes incredibly laggy and videos will take forever to load). I submitted a ticket to the Ghostery support team and they said they fixed the issue, but the problem is not fixed even a little bit.

Unfortunately all ad blockers are confronted with the same problem. We’ve recently rolled out several fixes addressing issues with YouTube, and the latest Ghostery version should provide a more stable experience.
Best, Ghostery Team - Been having issues with Youtube being seriously slow over the past week, been examining my PiHole for any issues, but then went through my browser extensions one by one and found that Ghostery was slowing it down to the point where videos wasn't loading thumbnails. Once I'd removed the Ghostery extension, Youtube worked properly again.

We’ve made several updates recently to improve Ghostery’s behavior on YouTube, and things should now be more stable. We’re continuing to monitor the experience and work on further improvements where needed.
Best, Ghostery Team - Avaliado em 3 de 5por Unamelable, há 8 diasProbably triggers youtube's adblock protection. Makes youtube completely unusable while that on. Maybe other web-sites works worse performance wise (its funny to see when website assemble itself visibly like i'm using my old Pentium 4 PC from that era). But you gotta choose privacy or performance in today's reality :/

Best, Ghostery Team- Avaliado em 2 de 5por PhysicsGaunt, há 8 diasI'm sure it is usually good, but currently it completely slows down youtube for me, might be due to conflicting add-ons or some new stuff youtube added, but in this state it is, for me, unusable.

Best, Ghostery Team - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Uncle Bo, há 10 diasI install this extension on every device I have admin access to. It's the first one I install on a fresh Firefox install. I especially recommend it to auto decline cookies.
