UNDERCURRENT is an offline deep-sea station management game. Direct your crew, recover research and keep the station habitable while recurring hull breaches threaten its interconnected systems.

OPERATE THE STATION
• Inspect each compartment's water level, oxygen and temperature.
• Seal or reopen bulkhead doors to control flooding and crew routes.
• Distribute limited reactor power between air production, pumps, laboratories and the workshop.
• Send crew to repair breaches, conduct research, recover in the berth or stand by.
• Read the incident log to follow the expedition's failure chain.

CONNECTED SYSTEMS
Open doors move oxygen, heat and water between rooms. Pumps drain their own compartment and adjacent rooms through open doors. Flooding can disable equipment and the reactor. High-numbered devices lose power first when demand exceeds supply. Crew must walk through reachable compartments, and closed doors or severe flooding can block their assignments.

THREE EXPEDITIONS
First descent, Cold current and The long survey increase the research target and frequency of hull breaches. Reach your assignment's research target to win. The mission ends in defeat if the entire crew is incapacitated or every compartment is critically flooded. Expedition seeds allow repeatable starting conditions and breach sequences.

TIME TO THINK
Pause whenever you need to inspect the station or issue orders, then continue at 1×, 2× or 4×. Use the cross-section or numbered compartment buttons to choose rooms. The operations manual explains thresholds, power priority, crew health and mission goals.

The toolbar popup opens the station in its own Firefox tab. Progress is saved on this device. Reopened missions start paused, and simulation pauses while the tab is hidden. This is a stylized systems game, not a real engineering or diving simulator. It includes no multiplayer, advertising or purchases.

OFFLINE BY DESIGN
No account, website access, analytics, remote code or external services. Crew assignments, room conditions, mission progress and the incident log stay in this add-on's local browser storage with a backup save. Starting a new mission replaces the current expedition. Later successful saves overwrite the backup. Clearing this add-on's stored data removes its saves.
