- Information We Collect (None)
tabForge does not collect, transmit, distribute, or sell any of your personal data.
Our extension requires certain browser permissions (such as access to your tabs, sessions, and bookmarks) solely to provide the core functionality of the workspace manager. All data processing occurs entirely locally on your device.
- Where Your Data is Stored
All data generated by TabForge including your saved workspaces, suspended tabs, analytics, and settings Is stored locally on your device using your browser's native storage.local API.
We do not own, operate, or maintain any external servers or databases. Your data never leaves your computer.
- Permissions Justification
To function properly, TabForge requires the following permissions:
tabs & activeTab: Required to read the URL, title, and favicon of your open tabs so you can save and organize them into workspaces.
storage: Required to save your workspaces, groups, and settings locally on your machine.
sessions: Required to restore previously saved tabs and track session history.
alarms & notifications: Required to execute background tasks (like auto-suspending idle tabs to save RAM) and alert you when an action succeeds.
contextMenus: Required to allow you to right-click a webpage and instantly add it to your TabForge queue.
bookmarks & history: (If applicable) Used strictly locally to enrich search functionality when finding past tabs.
- Third-Party Services
TabForge does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. Your browsing habits remain completely private.
- Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we do not collect your email address, we cannot notify you of changes directly. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes.
