SnipText operates entirely locally on your device. It does not collect, store, track, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or snipped text to any external servers or third parties. All Optical Character Recognition (OCR) processing happens directly inside your browser using WebAssembly. Note: The extension downloads standard open-source language data models over the network (from projectnaptha) strictly to enable the local text recognition engine.
