Simple Copy as Markdown Link Autor: andi

A small Firefox/Gecko WebExtension that saves links as Markdown via the
right-click context menu. Depending on what you right-click, you get a
Markdown link copied to your clipboard.

• Copy as [Selection](page URL)
  • Available when text is selected.
  • Link text: the selected text
  • Link URL: the current page
• Copy as [Title](page URL)
  • Available when right-clicking the page.
  • Link text: the current page's title
  • Link URL: the current page's URL
• Copy as [og:title](page URL)
  • Available when right-clicking the page.
  • Link text: the current page's og:title
  • Link URL: the current page's URL
• Copy as [title](link URL)
  • Available when right-clicking a link.
  • Link text: the linked page's title
  • Link URL: the linked page's URL
• Copy as [og:title](link URL)
  • Available when right-clicking a link.
  • Link text: the linked page's og:title
  • Link URL: the linked page's URL
• Copy as [Path element](link URL)
  • Available when right-clicking a link.
  • Link text: last path element + fragment of the link's URL, e.g. 476#issuecomment-6827 for https://example.com/slug/issues/476#issuecomment-6827
  • Link URL: the right-clicked link's URL

Each of the items above can be turned on or off individually from the
extension's options page (about:addons → Simple copy as markdown link → Preferences). So you can avoid firefox forced submenu by deselction linked page title or og:title option.
All items are enabled by default; the setting is stored in storage.sync.
