Sideview keeps the AI chat you already use open in Firefox's sidebar, so you can ask about what you are reading without switching tabs or losing your place.

Open several chats at once, with the same AI or different ones, each in its own tab. They stay beside every page you visit and come back when you reopen the sidebar.

Works with the chat you use

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other popular AI chat sites work straight after install. The sidebar shows each AI's own website, signed in with your own account, so your plan, history and settings come with it. Hide the ones you don't use and put the rest in your order. No API keys, no extra account

Sideview uses the accounts you are already signed in to. The free version needs no Sideview account and does not contact Sideview's servers. It reads page text only when you choose Send selection to chat, and does not read conversation contents.

Pro tools read a page only when you use them. Page text and screenshots go into the chat you chose, never to Sideview.

Privacy

Sideview has no browsing analytics. Chat addresses and titles stay on your device unless you turn on chat sync, which goes through Firefox Sync. Conversations remain with your AI providers. Signing in lets Sideview check your plan and, for teams, download shared prompts, rules and defaults. Firefox asks for optional data permissions for account access, chat sync and team activity, and the free sidebar works if you decline.
