Select Tab After Close Autor: Shajirr

This addon allows you to change which tab Firefox selects after closing the current tab, according to user-defined rules.

Rules

Rules are evaluated in order from the top.
Maximum of 10 rules can be set.
Rules can be reordered via drag-and-drop.
Consecutive duplicate rules are automatically removed on Options page close/reload.

If 'ignore unloaded tabs' setting is enabled and all rules fail, they are evaluated from the start again as fallback, but without ignoring unloaded tabs this time.

Logical errors in rules list

The addon doesn't check for logical errors when setting the rules (currently at least, this might be added later)
Some rules like "Last Accessed Tab", "Oldest Tab" or "Random Tab" will always execute, so any rules after them will never be reached.

Usage instructions

• Clicking the addon's toolbar icon toggles its enabled/disabled state.
• To quickly open the Options menu, right click the addon's toolbar icon and select "Options"
• Options page changes are saved automatically.
• Clicking "Reset to Defaults" will restore the default set of rules + default settings.

Compatibility

• This addon might conflict with other addons that also change the tab's 'successorTabId' property that determines which tab Firefox activates after the current tab closes.
