Radio Widget stores your data locally in your browser, using the browser's storage API. The extension sends no data to rheysoft. There is no advertising, no fingerprinting and no cookies set by the extension, and no analytics, telemetry or crash reports sent to rheysoft; the only usage report is the play report to Radio Browser described below.

Stored locally: favorites and favorite groups, your individual added stations, station notes, per-station volume, playback and interface settings, recently played and playback history, a local listening counter, the wake alarm schedule including the chosen station's details and the result of the last alarm, the default station list from the directory as last loaded, a license verification cache, and your Premium license key. Some of these keep the date they were added, changed or last used.

Network connections the extension makes:
- Radio Browser (*.radio-browser.info) - searching and browsing the station directory, which sends your search text and filters; the country list; discovery of available servers; and reporting a play for a directory station, which sends that station's ID so its popularity ranking stays accurate. Your own stations are never reported. Radio Browser logs IP addresses and request data. On Firefox, the browser itself adds an Origin: moz-extension://<ID> header to this request. That ID is random, unique to your installation and stays the same while the extension is installed. We do not create it, never store or send it ourselves, and cannot stop Firefox from adding the header.
- the station's own stream server, when you play a station and when the wake alarm starts one. Its operator sees your IP address, as with any audio stream.
- station logo hosts named in the directory. Off by default; you can switch logos on in settings. A logo host sees your IP address.
- Gumroad (api.gumroad.com) - verification of a Premium license key, which sends the key and the product ID. This happens when you activate Premium and again from time to time for verification while it is active.

The station ID and the license key are the only stored data that leave your device.
Listening statistics are counted and shown locally and never leave your device.

Deleting your data: uninstall the extension or use "Clear all local data" in settings. A backup file you export stays on your device until you delete it yourself.
