Quick Perplexes adds a keyboard-triggered search overlay to any webpage. Press Ctrl+` to open it, type your query, and press Enter to open the results in Perplexity.ai in a new tab. Select text on a page before pressing Ctrl+` and it will pre-fill the search box. Press Esc or click outside to dismiss.

This extension has no external dependencies and no build process that transforms source code.

build.js only zips the source files — no minification, bundling, or code generation occurs. The files in the ZIP are identical to the source files in the repository.
