PureFeed is an opinionated extension that hides YouTube Shorts, video clips under 1 minute, and
low-effort AI slop. It cleans up your feeds automatically with zero configuration, menus, or
options.

Install the extension, and it works instantly. No settings to tweak.



* Hides Shorts: Removes the Shorts button from the sidebar, the Shorts shelves on the home


page and search results, and the Shorts tab on channel pages.
* Filters short videos: Hides regular videos in your feeds if their duration is less than 60
seconds.
* Blocks AI-generated slop: Automatically filters out videos containing obvious AI keywords
in their titles (such as AI voice, AI cover, text-to-speech, ElevenLabs, or AI stories) while
keeping actual educational discussions and news about AI.
* Redirects Shorts URLs: If you open a direct link to a YouTube Short, you are automatically
redirected back to the homepage.


* Uses CSS to block Shorts elements instantly so they don't flash on the screen.
* Uses a lightweight script that monitors the feed as you scroll and hides short videos and AI


slop.
* No data collection. All processing is done locally on your computer.
